B16a (1st gen.) DA Integra Dyno Plots


Runs were performed on a Dynapack Dynometer. This device differs from the traditional 'rolling road' chassis dyno as data is read from mounts on the wheel hubs where drive train power loss is minimized. Power and torque figures are at the 'wheels'.

Baseline dyno: Mods were a header and full exhaust system.

Max. torque: 108.3 ft/lbs @5568rpm
Max. power: 152 hp @7684rpm

 

Dyno 2: Added a bored out (62mm) throttle body, CAI system and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Red line represents baseline run - fuel pressure tuning represented by the other 2 plots.

Max. torque: 112.4 ft/lbs @7296rpm
Max. power: 159.5 hp @7596rpm

 

Dyno 3: Dyno tuning session. Adjusted ignition timing, fuel pressure and micro-managed with Field SFC-VTEC.

Max. torque: 115.7 ft/lbs @7389rpm
Max. power: 163.2 hp @7506rpm

 

Dyno 4 (navy blue line): Mugen variant ECU, CTR cams, cam gears Intake:+4 Exhaust:-5, fuel pressure: 42 psi, ignition timing: 19 deg. BTDC

Max. torque: 118 ft/lbs @7413rpm
Max. power: 170.4hp @7748rpm
